Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 June 2026  ยท  Effective: 20 June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at salfetch.app and its subpages, including the interactive demo (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About the Site

SALFETCH is developed and operated by Saleh Alharbi ("SALFETCH", "we", "us", "our"), an independent software provider based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You can reach us at info@salfetch.app.

The Site is an informational and marketing website for the SALFETCH self-hosted network-automation software. It includes a live demonstration and forms through which you may request information or a copy of the software. It also presents professional services (consulting, implementation, and training) that we offer separately (see Section 5). The Site does not sell, process payments for, or deliver the software automatically; any purchase is arranged separately by direct communication (see Section 4).

2. The demonstration ("Demo")

3. Acceptable use

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

4. Requests, quotes and communications

5. Professional services, consulting and training

Separately from the software, we offer professional services: network consulting (strategy, assessments, and design & optimization advice); professional / implementation services (such as deployment, configuration, upgrades, and optimization); and training and student learning support (tutoring, mentoring, and guidance). To enquire about these services, contact info@salfetch.app.

6. Intellectual property

The SALFETCH name, logo, the Site, its text, design, and the software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Nothing on the Site grants you any licence to the software except as set out in a separate signed/confirmed agreement. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish Site content without our permission, except for normal personal viewing.

7. Third-party services and links

The Site is hosted on Netlify and may link to third-party services (e.g. LinkedIn). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites. Form submissions are sent to us directly by email from your own email application; see our Privacy Policy.

8. The software, licence and self-hosting

The SALFETCH software (the "Software") is self-hosted โ€” you install and run it on your own infrastructure, under your own control. Your right to use the Software is governed by the separate License Agreement we provide to you when you place an order, together with our Acceptable Use Policy. The disclaimers, the limitation of liability, the indemnity, and your responsibilities set out in these Terms and in our Disclaimer apply to your use of the Software as well as the Site โ€” in addition to, and without limiting, that License Agreement. If there is any conflict in relation to the Software, the License Agreement prevails for the Software.

9. No warranty โ€” "as is"

The Site, the Demo, and the Software are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties, conditions, or representations of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site or Software will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or that any specific result, output, or outcome will be achieved. See our Disclaimer for the full statement.

10. Your responsibility; no responsibility for misuse

You are solely responsible for your use of the Site and the Software, for the people you allow to use them, and for everything done through your installation. You agree to use the Software only on networks, systems, devices, and accounts that you own or are explicitly authorized to administer, using credentials you are authorized to use, and only for lawful purposes.

Because the Software is self-hosted and runs entirely under your control, we do not operate it for you, do not monitor your use, and have no access to your installation, your credentials, or the networks you point it at. Accordingly, we are not responsible for any misuse of the Software โ€” including unauthorized access, unlawful activity, breach of a third party's rights, or breach of your organization's policies โ€” carried out by you or by anyone using your installation. You also accept the operational risk of network automation (for example, that pushing commands, configuration changes, image transfers, or upgrades can cause service interruption, misconfiguration, or data loss), and you agree to review dry-run output, keep your own backups and change-control, and test before applying changes. Use of the Site and Software is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business, or for network downtime, configuration errors, device damage, or business interruption, arising from your use of the Site, the Demo, or the Software โ€” whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability relating to the Site and the free Demo is limited to SAR 0. Liability for the Software is governed by the separate License Agreement; where no such limit applies, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Software in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SALFETCH (Saleh Alharbi) from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Site or Software; (b) your breach of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or the Disclaimer; (c) your violation of any law or regulation; or (d) your infringement of the rights of any third party, including any unauthorized access to or impact on any network, system, or device.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
